Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales, International (Raleigh, NC)

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team. 

The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self- starter that will support our rapidly growing international customer base. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead calls with international customers to identify customer needs and provide solutions through various IXL products.
  • Conduct cold outbound outreach through prospecting within your territory.
  • Build knowledge of territory level trends, buying cycles, educational priorities, etc. and communicate strategic learners to the broader sales team.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound sales leads to communicate IXL’s value proposition to new international customers.
  • Ensure the timely processing of international leads and assist with and support sales campaigns.
  • Track activities and detailed notes on progress of sales opportunities, leads and accounts in Salesforce.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure quota attainment.
  • Collaborate with Account Management to assist with the tracking and management of renewals and expansions from existing customers.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree
  • A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal (Zoom/telephone) and written communications skills
  • Understanding of web applications
  • Passion for improving education through technology
  • Experience with inside, preferably within the EdTech or software industry and/or Salesforce.com is a plus but not required
  • Experience in the classroom or as a school or district administrator is a plus but not required
