Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales (International Accounts) (Tucson, AZ)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 10 million students worldwide, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team.

The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing international customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL’s value proposition to new international users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
  • Ensure the timely processing of international leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
  • Communicate clearly the progress of campaigns to the sales team
  • Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
  • Assist with the tracking and management of renewals
  • Participate in trade shows, marketing events and more

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of inside sales experience, preferably within the edtech or software industry
  • A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
  • Understanding of web applications
  • Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience is a plus
