Education Sales Manager

Robin is a social-emotional learning solution that connects students with coaches and curriculum to build the skills to thrive when faced with life’s toughest challenges. Robin is growing fast and is looking to hire a Sales Manager immediately.

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging self-starter with prior sales experience to sell and implement education solutions to K-12 schools. The Sales Manager will join Robin’s Community Partnerships team with the primary responsibility of facilitating and generating new business. They will also work alongside senior leadership to develop the vision for the Sales team and the annual business plans necessary to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual business plan in conjunction with senior leadership
  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities
  • Assist current team in identifying and maximizing sales opportunities among current school partners and non-profit organizations
  • Sell consultatively and demonstrate the strong product knowledge necessary to make thoughtful recommendations to prospective clients
  • Participate and/or lead strategic brainstorming sessions
  • Offer voice of the customer to product, curriculum, operations, and marketing teams
  • Generate ideas that will generate leads, increase sales, increase profitability, increase market share and improve client delivery
  • Monitor competitor behavior
  • Foster and represent the “voice” of Robin’s institutional products and services
  • Represent Robin at conferences, industry events, and business meetings
  • Demonstrate strong collaborative skills with all Robin team members

Requirements

  • College degree
  • 3+ years of prior Sales experience setting goals, coordinating teams and selling into either K-12 public school districts or non-profit organizations
  • Self-motivated professional with natural problem-solving capabilities and a positive mindset
  • Superb communication skills, engaging presence and at ease presenting to diverse groups, leading meetings, and inspiring teams
