Education Partnerships Manager

In our pursuit of positively transforming the social-emotional well-being of 100 million children annually by 2028, Committee for Children is looking for an experienced education partnerships manager to join our team! In this role, the education partnerships manager (EPM) will focus on engaging with district leaders and decision makers to support district priorities and initiatives around social-emotional learning. They will assume primary responsibility for proactive client acquisition and relationships with strategic districts, management of client accounts, and development of assigned territory or market segments to achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives. The EPM will achieve sales objectives by maintaining existing client base, providing consultation and implementation strategy for new and existing programs, and creating new opportunities for growth with current and potential customers. They will represent CFC at industry events and conferences supporting and promoting CFC’s mission. The EPM will develop and nurture multi-level district relationships and establish credibility as a knowledgeable industry resource within key partnerships and target districts.

Primary Responsibilities Include

Territory Sales, Development, and Management

  • Responsible for sales growth and strategy in assigned territory including market penetration and opportunity development to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives for both individual and territory goals
  • Support the sales of programs, products and services, including print, hybrid, and subscription offerings to new and existing customers utilizing proven sales techniques
  • Provide expertise and market knowledge to develop, oversee and execute strategic territory plans and marketing campaigns appropriate to the PreK-12 education market to accelerate customer adoption, extend reach, and achieve territory sales goals
  • Focus on pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, account planning, relationship building, and customer retention
  • Represent CFC at national and regional conferences and events to build strategic alliances, promote awareness, develop presentations with strategic partners and clients, and enhance the awareness of CFC’s programs

Account Management

  • Create and implement strategic account strategies and techniques to establish a strong client base and initiate new and renewal sales opportunities
  • Provide consultation, presentations, trainings and webinars to strategic partners, districts and schools regarding effective practices with CFC programs and services
  • Provide ongoing support with clients to ensure satisfaction with programs, products or services provided and assist in resolving any issues or concerns
  • Provide accurate and timely reports and maintains sales opportunity pipeline and records within the CRM to accurately forecast sales projections
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the education partnerships team, client success & support, implementation and other stakeholders to proactively support the needs of the customer

Client and Internal Consultation

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge around CFC products, market trends, competitive landscape, national and state funding policies, legislation and other factors influencing the market
  • Work closely with district and school leaders to develop deep and ongoing relationships and maintain knowledge of client initiatives, implementation practices and barriers
  • Act as an ongoing advisor with partners and district leaders for application and implementation of our programs in educational and community settings
  • Adapt to changing product and market trends and assists new and existing customers in adapting to those changes including but not limited to digital product purchases, license renewals, and implementation strategies


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, business, or related field
  • Four years’ professional experience in consultative sales; sales to the K–12 education market preferred
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and proficiency working in a CRM
  • Expert listener, communicator and relationship builder
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Strong customer focus, collaboration and team-building skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with group speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Position is based in Seattle
  • 25% Travel
