The Recruitment Associate will join our-ten person, highly collaborative recruitment team. They will be a highly organized, detail-oriented project manager and individual contributor with a knack for sourcing high quality talent, strong communication skills, and systems savvy. As a key supporter, this individual will enable Search Leads to focus on the smooth execution of the client engagement overall.

The ideal candidate has experience in and a passion for education, an understanding of high-quality delivery, and a desire to leverage their project oversight and detail orientation to help Search Leads support clients. This will focus on identifying and hiring highly qualified candidates across all socially considered groups who will further their work to ensure equity of educational and life opportunities for all students.

The Recruitment Associate will be an important team player to ensure that Edgility executive searches and recruitment engagements are on track and successfully completed. This role will work across three main focus areas: sourcing quality talent, providing search systems support, and contributing to an excellent candidate experience.


Key Responsibilities of the Recruitment Associate include:


  • Support in developing the sourcing strategy for building talent pools of specific candidate profiles aligned to meet clients’ needs;
  • Proactively build a quality pool of talent through developing and optimizing sourcing channels;

Search Systems Support

  • Organize and manage internal search systems, including maintaining accurate and up to date records of candidate materials, communications, and all outreach efforts;
  • Prepare external facing materials and hiring updates for Search Leads to review;

Candidate Experience

  • Support in communicating with candidates to ensure a high-quality and seamless candidate experience throughout the full recruitment cycle;
  • Contribute to special projects and select firmwide recruitment initiatives.


A successful first year in this role for the new Recruitment Associate will include:

  • Development of high-quality candidate pools that reflect clients’ needs, as affirmed by Search Leads;
  • Integrating feedback to continuously enhance sourcing efforts;
  • Leveraging their detail orientation to ensure internal search systems are maintained in a timely manner;
  • Producing consistently high-quality work products, including job descriptions, hiring updates, candidate summaries and other external or client-facing materials;
  • Communicating proactively with candidates throughout the full recruitment cycle;
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in support of Search Leads and firmwide recruitment priorities.


In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the ideal Recruitment Associate candidate will have/be:

  • Effective organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and execute on a number of recruitment engagements while remaining responsive to evolving candidate profiles;
  • A relationship builder with demonstrated competence around customer and client service delivery;
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce consistently high-quality written communications and materials;
  • Cultural competence and self-reflection, maintaining a strong growth mindset and desire to learn and grow as a professional;
  • Skill at managing up and anticipating needs, demonstrated ability to adjust to different work and communication styles;
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector and/or K-12 education (preferred but not required);
  • Flexibility and comfort with being held accountable while working in an entrepreneurial environment with low-to-moderate supervision.


This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 and robust benefits including medical, dental, and retirement. More details can be provided upon request.
