The Associate, Special Projects will be focused on enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the Co-Founding Partner, Talent Equity Consulting, by proactively managing her inbox and schedule, overseeing all systems, templates, and processes for the Talent Equity Consulting practice, and being the driving force behind implementing new initiatives, system improvements and process improvements. This is a 40-hour per week remote position that can be based anywhere.

The ideal candidate has a high level of personal initiative, strong interpersonal and communications skills with a systems and efficiency mindset, an excellent focus on details, and superb professional judgement. They will be excited by the opportunity to work closely with Edgility’s founders and staff while building their network with our clients and partners, who include some of the nation’s most impactful executives in social change organizations.


Key Responsibilities of the Associate, Special Projects include:

Partner Support

  • Maximize the Partner’s effectiveness by leveraging her time in a way that ensures maximum focus on highest priority organization issues and initiatives;
  • Work with the Partner’s direct reports to ensure timely communication, collaboration, and results;

Cross-functional Project Management

  • Collaborate with the Partner in building out effective project management systems and practices across the Talent Equity Consulting team;
  • Serve as the primary project manager and implement a variety of long-term, projects such as strategic initiatives, system improvements, sales & marketing initiatives, events, etc;
  • Work to ensure the successful launch of new initiatives as directed by the Partner.

General Operations Support

  • Overseeing meeting preparation, planning, and implementation for team meetings, retreats, and conferences;
  • Ensure the Talent Equity Consulting has optimized systems, platforms, and technology in place to ensure high-quality service delivery for clients and seamless internal operations;
  • Providing communications support, including drafting emails, internal and external communications;
  • Ensure effective and efficient onboarding of new Talent Equity Consulting employees.
  • Managing schedules and communications for Partner, responding to scheduling requests and flagging other messages for follow-up;


A successful first year in this role for the new Associate, Special Projects will include:

  • Production of consistently high-quality work products, including email communications, client presentations, external documents, and internal materials;
  • Integration into the existing Edgility team as a key hub for Talent Equity Consulting Partner;
  • An increase in the capacity of the Partner through a noticeable improvement in partners’ efficiency and effectiveness.


In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the ideal Associate, Special Projects candidate will be:

  • At least five years of professional experience preferably in a similar administrative role, or project management, communications, event planning or sales function.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and organized; able to balance strong attention to detail skills with the ability to see the big picture and respond accordingly.
  • An excellent written communicator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, candidates, and partners.
  • Culturally competent and self-reflective, someone who maintains a strong growth mindset and desire to learn and grow as a professional.
  • Highly skilled at managing up and anticipating needs from others in the firm, demonstrated ability to adjust to different work and communication styles.
  • Flexible and nimble; comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with high accountability and low-to-moderate supervision;
  • Interested in mission-driven organizations, especially those serving children and families.


This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 and robust benefits including medical, dental, and retirement. More details can be provided upon request.
