Divisional Marketing Manager

Sourcewell - Multiple Locations or Remote - Full time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Partner with SWO Marketing and SWT Operations to develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, to increase brand awareness and profitability.

  • Evaluate and optimize marketing and pricing strategies
  • Analyze marketing trends and prepare forecasts
  • Build and execute branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns that support the strategy
  • Articulate marketing strategy and communicate results to key stakeholders
  • Provides oversight of marketing budget
  • Increase brand awareness and market share
  • Coordinate marketing strategies with sales, finance, public relations, SWO marketing, and service delivery teams
  • Deliver marketing qualified leads to the sales teams
  • Share responsibility for meeting sales targets
  • Conducts research and market analysis related to new idea generation
  • Lead partner and end customer communications and go-to-market campaigns around new features, releases, integrations, and products
  • Research, discover, and define new methods, applications, visualizations and processes to improve insights generation and influence action
  • Work directly with department managers to develop and refine marketing content for all SWT related training and advisory events
  • Be the subject matter expert on our partner programs, messaging, use cases, value propositions, personas, and customer stories

2. Manage partnerships and relationships with complex external marketing agencies

  • Create, foster, and manage relationships with partner marketing, product, and sales professionals
  • Establish a regular work cadence to jointly drive programs and activities
  • Execute marketing plans that integrate external agencies to constantly test and try new marketing tactics that drive preference and demand generation with end users

3. Other related areas and duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Collaboration and support of other Sourcewell marketing programs and initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and
  • Five years of marketing management, brand management or strategy management experience in a professional service delivery organization
  • Agency management experience
  • Proven track record of developing, analyzing, and supporting go-to market strategy and execution
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding
  • Public speaking and presentation experience
  • Hands-on experience with marketing analytics tools
  • Strategic planning and meeting facilitation experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field or comparable advanced education
  • K-12 edtech experience
  • Experience performing marketing management, brand management or strategy management for the K-12 environment

This is a full-time remote position.

The position works primarily with our Sourcewell Technology team. Sourcewell Technology is based in St. Paul, and Sourcewell is based in Staples. On occasion, you may be requested to be at either location, for meetings, personal development or other organizational commitments.
