Sales Project Coordinator

IXL Learning - San Mateo, California - Full time

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 9 million students worldwide, is seeking a Sales Project Coordinator to join our growing Sales organization. In this role, you will communicate with procurement departments in public school districts across the US to catalog IXL’s vendor approval status. You’ll also work with multiple internal departments to share your findings and gather required information to submit to districts where IXL is not yet approved.

This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Sales Operations Department in our San Mateo office.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Catalog IXL’s vendor status within US public school districts by contacting individual districts and verifying whether or not IXL is an approved vendor
  • Field requests from sales teams for approval status within specific priority districts
  • Organize approval requirements for each district where IXL is not approved and coordinate with appropriate teams, including Legal, Proposals, and Technical Support, to ensure that approval requirements are met. Once all requirements are met, submit necessary forms to district.
  • Track completion of individual district approval requirements and notify stakeholders upon award of approval
  • Own process documentation and provide transparency across customer facing teams
  • Additional projects for the Sales Operations team as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS and 1-2 years of experience in customer service and/or administrative work
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator who can work well with a wide range of people and negotiate effectively with vendors
  • Motivated self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong track record of supporting process improvements
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan and build timelines, prioritize tasks, and act resourcefully to resolve problems
  • Quick learner who demonstrates initiative and can work well both within a team and independently
  • Ability to adapt to, and provide solutions to, the changing needs of the sales organization.
  • An interest in education and education technology
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
