The award-winning (Tech & Learning, 2021) Learning Explorer solution, saves teachers time by providing them seamless single-sign-on access to a huge, all-in-one ecosystem of over 4 million curated educational videos and images, teacher-reviewed (free and open) educational resources (OER), and district procured publisher content.

Position Overview

Learning Explorer is looking for a full-time District Success Manager to help ensure the success of Learning Explorer district partners as well as manage relationships with school and district leaders. You will serve as a primary contact with district decision makers, trainers, and educators, and will be responsible for making sure that the experience that district clients have with the Learning Explorer team and platform is always a positive, supportive and delightful one. Successful candidates will thrive in this dynamic environment and demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills. This is a client facing position that requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented person with the ability to multi-task and improve upon established processes.The District Success Manager will support Learning Explorer district partners as they transition from sales prospects to active long-term users of our solution. You will be focused on building district loyalty and close collaborative client relationships.

You are edtech savvy and comfortable leading, guiding, and engaging educators in both online and/or live Learning Explorer training workshops. As an experienced educator, you are able to creatively tie your teaching knowledge, experience, and instincts into your Learning Explorer training workshops. This role gives you the opportunity to contribute to and experience different facets of business operations, including customer-facing tasks, collaborating closely with and supporting our sales team, providing customer and product feedback to our product team, as well as creating training materials and assisting with marketing related tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain healthy, ongoing partnership communication with districts/schools/educators
  • Facilitate onboarding, SSO and account setup for district pilots and trials
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration, communication and support with the sales and marketing teams
  • Lead training workshops and participate in sales demonstrations as needed
  • Maintain ongoing district client communications: check-in’s, touches, reports, and outreach
  • Monitor and report on district usage and proactively respond to ensure usage growth
  • Collaboratively develop and maintain a variety of Learning Explorer District Success support materials (i.e. how-to videos, pdf’s, newsletters, tutorials, courses, webinars, help center, etc.)
  • Provide strategic district accounts and select partners with additional support as needed
  • Collaborate with and provide customer and product feedback to the product team

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of classroom teaching experience as a credentialed K-12 educator in the USA
  • Customer support experience preferred; prior experience in edtech sector a bonus
  • Demonstrated experience serving others and developing collegial relationships; excellent written, spoken communication and listening skills
  • Edtech savvy, confident leading and guiding K-12 educators in online or live training workshops
  • High energy, positive, creative, innovative and flexible, ready to delight Learning Explorer districts
  • Passion for teaching and learning, enjoys
  • working with and inspiring teachers and school leaders
  • Enjoys working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize platforms such as Salesforce, Google Apps, Canvas, Zoom, and Sceencastify as well as teacher tools such as NearPod, Pear Deck, EdPuzzle, Kami, etc.

Location

Learning Explorer is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. This position location is flexible and can be performed from nearly anywhere in the United States. The daily schedule allows for some flexibility, but some training workshops are scheduled at 8AM EST, and the candidate must be available as needed.
