District Partnership Consultant

IMSE - Southfield, Michigan or Remote - Full time

The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE) is a leader in providing research-based Orton-Gillingham Trainings for educators. Since 1996, IMSE has partnered with school districts and teachers around the country to provide exceptional professional development training to all educators.

IMSE is looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-past environment to fulfill a District Partnership Consultant position. This person will provide professional development sales support to both our K-12 new and renewal business customers. The ideal candidate for this role has an innate sales savvy and experience building lasting customer relationships utilizing strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


  • Manage and qualify new business leads, while cultivating relationships with district leaders throughout the sales process to expand future renewal growth
  • Conduct and schedule calls and virtual meetings with district leaders to understand their needs and educate them on IMSE’s mission, value proposition, and portfolio of course offerings
  • Prioritize tasks and utilize a strategic approach to identifying and growing sales in a fast-paced setting with a rapidly growing customer base
  • Prospect strategic accounts based on IMSE’s strategic sales objectives
  • Assist and support in sales campaigns and marketing outreach efforts
  • Gather and share customer feedback to help IMSE’s pursuit of continuous improvement
  • Keep and maintain data in a CRM (ZOHO) for reporting and accurate forecasting
  • Work collaboratively with teammates across the organization


  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant customer service experience and/or at least 2-years of sales experience preferred
  • Have a familiarity of the K-12 education market
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, including all aspects of professional phone/email communication.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Google Workspace and video conferencing platforms.
  • Self-starter with a natural sales instinct looking to make a difference in the lives of educators and students.
  • Inside sales role with minimal travel required
