Director, Product Marketing

BellXcel - Remote - Full time

Position Overview:

The Director, Product Marketing will be responsible for transforming detailed product features and benefits into powerful stories and assets. This high-visibility position reports directly to the head of marketing & communications and plays a critical role in positioning BellXcels value to prospective customers and to deepen user loyalty and utilization of BellXcels solutions.

Position Accountabilities:

Exceptional storytelling chops are key to this exciting role. You'll connect features and functionality across market segments and varied buyer personas to demonstrate the value of BellXcels solutions. The Director, Product Marketing will also identify and articulate key insights to strengthen understanding of how BellXcel stacks up among a diverse field of competitors.

Specific accountabilities include:

Develop product positioning with differentiated market value propositions through compelling messaging across the various stages of the prospect & customer journey.Curate differentiated messaging to articulate BellXcels unique value in the market.Ensure readiness of sales and service teams including creation of sales enablement assets and content such as presentation decks, one-pagers, product sheets, customer success stories, scripts, etc.Leverage customer analytics to further build and define buyer personas and educate cross-functional teams on evolving research, including pain points, motivations, and general insights.Develop externally-facing product content and messaging fit-for-use across a variety of medium and in alignment with brand voice and tone such as web content, presentations, product videos, website copy, and feature release communications that compels awareness, interest, action and utilization.Partner with product leadership to influence product roadmap and releases.Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, service and finance to effect packaging, translate product/customer insights and competitive landscape.Continuously evaluate existing product marketing collateral based on market feedbackidentifying priorities for new collateral.

Position Requirements:

8+ years of experience in product marketing in the commercial sector, preferably in a SaaS, B2B environment.Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to establish and strengthen relationships across departments and teams.Superior story telling ability demonstrated through written, presenting, and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interface and influence colleagues.Proven success translating technical language into marketing-friendly messaging.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic virtual work environment.Ability to adapt to change with resilience and creativity.Expertise leveraging data and insights for continuous improvement and development of strategies and messaging.Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.
