Digital media such as videos and podcasts are critical in the online delivery of learning experiences to engage students and improve outcomes - but in order for those assets to provide value, they need to find their right place within the different learning curricula. We have partnered with content creators from TED Talks to Crash Course, from The Economist to Sci Show to swiftly match top-quality digital media against learning objectives and bring education to life.

About the role

Boclips provides the multimedia engine to empower the world's best learning platforms with engaging resources. We work in a diverse range of markets, from North America to Europe, the Middle East, India and SouthEast Asia.

This is a full lifecycle senior sales role in our North American sales team. You’ll be building relationships with higher education institutions across the US and working directly with Professors and faculty.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering a book of business in higher education: nurturing leads, cultivating relationships and closing new business with universities across America.
  • Creating sales proposals that demonstrate value to customers. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide details on technical aspects of the product or bring in our curriculum specialists to showcase content for customers' specific needs.
  • Gathering customer requirements and feeding back to our product team to identify product enhancements.
  • Maintaining your pipeline and tracking all deal opportunity data and interactions in the company’s CRM.
  • Working closely with counterparts in Customer Success to transition new partners for successful onboarding and implementation.

      About You

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset! You have examples of being resourceful, overcoming challenges and taking continuous action on your ideas.
  • 5+ years of sales to the education market, preferably higher education in North America.
  • You understand multi-stakeholder decision processes and are able to align solutions to the needs of each individual.
  • You have managed deals from prospect to close and are comfortable owning a quota.
  • Great collaboration skills, you know who to pull in to get the job done.
  • A clear and efficient communicator.
  • You ask the right questions to get to the heart of the customer’s problem. You listen, build trust and guide deals to a successful close.
  • You are humble and team-oriented, seeking and welcoming feedback in support of your professional growth.
