The University of Arizona’sUniversity Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT) seeks an experienced leader who is passionate about the scholarship and application of teaching and learning and educational development. The Director of Teaching and Learning comes with a Professor of Practice (non-tenured) title. This position offers the opportunity to reimagine and create impactful programming that supports instructors, increases campus capacity for evidence-based approaches to teaching, and enhances our unit as a vital, trusted partner for teaching innovation.
The incumbent will develop, iterate, implement, and oversee educational-development programs and initiatives on topics related to evidence-based teaching, inclusive pedagogies, and integration of technologies to promote student engagement and learning. They will lead a team of seven faculty members who collaborate with units across our campus to promote departmental learning around discipline-specific teaching and learning.
