Director of School Success - New York - Full time

As the director of school success, you will help Quill build strong relationships with schools and districts. You will lead a team of individuals providing instructional coaching and professional development to teachers through both on-site and remote training sessions. Using a set of metrics that measure school success, you will help identify which schools are successful in reaching their goals and which schools need additional support. Working with the school success team, you will define strategies to help schools build a culture of expository writing. You will serve as the point person for administrators and principals of key strategic partner schools, and you will work with Quill's foundation partners and leadership team to accelerate academic engagement and school success.

= Roles & Responsibilities==

Building Partnerships with Schools and Districts 

- Present Quill to school and district administrators, and cultivate enthusiasm for piloting Quill. 

- Use learning outcomes data to articulate the ROI (return on investment) of using Quill to school administrators and Quill's strategic partners. 

- Help facilitate renewal sales with partner schools and districts.

Supporting Successful School Implementation 

- Oversee pilot implementations of Quill and help resolve implementation challenges. 

- Develop and monitor key metrics for school success. 

- Provide targeted training sessions, check-ins, and email campaigns to boost school success.

Managing a School Success Team 

- Immediately manage a team of two staff members focused on school success. 

- Recruit two to three additional staff members focused on instructional coaching, partnerships, and sales operations. 

- Set objectives and key results for the school success team and monitor progress toward those goals. 

- Work with Quill's leadership team to develop new curriculum, technology, and product goals based on teacher and administrator feedback.

Delivering Professional Learning Services 

- Manage a team of staff members delivering professional development to schools and teachers. 

- Collaborate with staff members to continually iterate on PD offerings and measure the success of these offerings. 

- Help recruit and manage a team of remote contractors that will provide local, on-site training with key partner schools.

- You've been successful at driving growth through sharp analysis and effective cross-team collaboration.

= Qualifications =

- 3+ years of experience in K-12 education (preferably 5+)
