Director of School Success

DeansList is a software company dedicated to providing educators with the tools they need to help students succeed. Pivotal to our success as an organization is the passion that our School Success team has for understanding the problems facing schools and helping them solve them, whether by pointing them to known best practices, getting creative with existing tools, or advocating for new features that they know will make a real difference.Our schools are vocal that the support they receive is a huge reason why they re-sign their contracts each year. We’re looking for someone with experience providing excellent customer service who will enable us to provide that level of support at scale, so we can bring on more schools without sacrificing what sets us apart.


  • Build a team of dedicated School Success Associates and Managers who will deliver excellent support to our schools. DeansList is growing, and we need a School Success team staffed with empathetic team members passionate about helping schools.
  • Create frameworks and resources to ensure that every member of the School Success team is able to execute on our shared understanding of what client success looks like. As our team grows, you’ll need to communicate a consistent vision for how to provide excellent support to all of our schools.
  • Own the success of our schools, including onboarding, product adoption, engagement, and retention. Create metrics to monitor engagement and retention.
  • Assess current practices and develop and execute new systems for onboarding schools excited to hit the ground running. DeansList is a highly customizable tool with a broad feature set. Our School Success team works each summer to ensure that every school understands DeansList’s capabilities and is able to effectively leverage the features they need.
  • Engage our educator community with newsletters, webinars and events that give schools an opportunity to share best practices. The school leaders we work with have valuable information to share, and we want to make sure our schools can learn from one another.
  • Serve as a school advocate as we set engineering priorities for the development of new features.
  • Provide direct support for enterprise clients. Multi-school districts meet with members of the School Success team regularly to streamline support.
  • Expand and improve our library of resources and offerings of best practices- specifically anti-bias/racism in schools and DEI.
