This role is on the front lines of prospect research, cultivation, pitching, and closing school sales with a particular focus on building highly scalable processes that enables SEED SPOT to reach growth goals year-over-year. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop tactical sales strategy to reach annual youth target sales as informed by strategic plan.

- Support development of collateral, pricing strategy, and pitch materials to sell our program to schools.

- Execute the sales plan for the youth market from prospect stages through cultivation to securing contracts.

- Serve as key point of contact for all inbound inquiries about our youth programs.

- Create compelling pitch materials, talking points, and processes to guide prospects through the sales cycle.

- Track all sales prospects in CRM and implement moves-management strategy to close contracts.

- Leverage the National Director of Marketing/Sales, VP of Youth Programs, CEO, and Board members as appropriate to help close large contracts.

- Attend industry conferences and events, position SEED SPOT on stage, and promote programs to buyers.

- Drive strategic relationships with school networks, industry leaders, and other channels that open up a high volume of school sales at one time.

Key Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills:

- Intimate knowledge of school ecosystem, conferences, events, thought leaders, and school networks.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales process inside of a growing organization.

- Passion for building relationships, cultivating prospects, and closing deals.

- Salesforce knowledge desired.


Reports to: National Director of Marketing / Sales

FY18 Performance Goals:

- Sell 100 total school contracts in FY18 to start programs in FY19 (retention of existing schools included)

- Maintain CRM and moves management strategy to clearly document prospect pipeline in real time

- Increase prospect pipeline by 100% (to 6,000 contacts in school database) to position for YoY growth
