Director of Sales, USA

3P Learning - Multiple Locations or Remote - Full time

3P Learning is a global educational technology company that inspires kids to love learning. Our products, led by our flagship product Mathletics, are fun, engaging, pedagogically sound and adored by teachers, parents and kids (over 5M of them!) all over the world. 

We are in growth mode and are currently seeking a Director of Sales, USA to join our team. This role will lead, coach and drive the direct sales team responsible for new business generation and client renewal and retention. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining a successful customer centric operation while producing growth across the USA market. 

With a strengthened and refocused product portfolio, as well as significant investment in improved, scalable operating models, 3P has created an environment which aims to remove barriers to commercial success. 

You will make a difference by:

  • Develop and deliver the business development and retention sales strategy that is focused on driving exponential growth in the United States.
  • Lead the US new business team to achieve stretch growth targets while continuing to support the ongoing capability and development of team members.
  • Drive a relentless focus on customer retention and a step-change in 3P’s customer success model
  • Communicate and drive 3P’s value proposition
  • Motivate and focus a ‘best-in-class’ team to deliver 3P’s strategic goals; foster a “one pod” sales culture across the region
  • Set performance targets, and develop strategies to ensure targets are consistently met and exceeded
  • Proactively lead the development of a high-quality pipeline that will yield short, mid, and long-term growth
  • Ensure effective use of the Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system and other key technology provided to enable success
  • Demonstrate operational excellence, best practice, entrepreneurship, business acumen and integrity while maintaining a high-performance, customer centric culture

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience within the US market, ideally in K-12 software
  • Proven experience in successfully creating and scaling a multi-channel regional sales strategy
  • Track record in developing and maintaining a high performance, customer centric, sales culture
  • Experience building and expanding sales teams within a large region, including experience effectively leading and motivating remote teams
  • Strong sales acumen
