We were established in Australia in 2019 and are now bringing our solution to the urgent pain of staff wellbeing and the foundational challenge of the absence of evidence informed workforce strategy, to the US. Now working with 20 anchor tenant Districts across 8 States, we are on an incredible growth trajectory and looking for our first US Sales Director.

The Opportunity.

PeopleBench seeks a seasoned Director of Sales who will target, pitch and close new K12 clients while building a scalable sales function and team that will help catapult our growth in the United States and beyond. Working with Executive Leadership, you will build on PeopleBench's initial success in acquiring and serving anchor tenantK12 clients in Australia – helping them grow their anchor tenant relationships in the US. 

You must have a proven track record in direct sales to K12 school districts and regional consortia including BOCES, COEs and ESCs. You will be responsible for leveraging existing K12 relationships, building a robust pipeline, demonstrating our research-informed workforce wellness & strategy solution, closing new business and nurturing clients to support upsells and renewals. You must be self-directed, entrepreneurially-minded and a leader at heart.

As Director of Sales, you will be required to

- Canvas, pitch and close new K12 education clients in strategic markets.

- Build, manage and grow a sales pipeline and hit quarterly sales goals.

- Create and evolve a long-term sales strategy including budgets and forecasts. 

- Work with the Customer Experience team and our US market Ambassadors to ensure fluid onboarding, coordinated implementation and clear evidence of effectiveness in order to drive upsells and renewals.

- Collaborate with product development on new features and functionality to be added in response to client feedback. 

Key Requirements.

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in K12 Sales.

- Strong relationships with K12 School District decision makers, primarily on the west coast. 

- Proven track record in building and managing a pipeline of new business.

- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are a must.

- Ability to travel but also provide virtual presentations and demonstrations is critical.

- Proficiency with sales enablement and operations tools such as Hubspot.

- Understanding of HR, HRIS and school operations software is a major plus. 

- A college degree is required (BA/BS).

*Must be full authorized to work unrestricted in the US.

Key Relationships.

The US Director Sales reports directly to the CEO, based in Brisbane, Australia. The role will work collaboratively with the Australian based Business Development & Partnerships Lead, Customer Success, Product and Research teams and other members of the PeopleBench Executive Leadership Team.

Travel and Networking.

The US Director of Sales will be expected to travel interstate and regionally regularly – with the possibility of international travel on occasion. Business Development and company expansion activity will determine when and where these demands arise and we’re looking for a Director of Sales who’s as excited as we are about seeing the world’s schools thrive.
