As the Director of Sales, Education, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing channel partners, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, delivering engaging product presentations, and collaborating with our marketing team to drive brand awareness and sales growth. Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and expand UBTECH Education’s market share in the K-12 education sector.
• Identify and establish relationships with key channel partners to drive engagement, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to key channel partners, showcasing the benefits and applications of UBTECH Education products.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
• Monitor and evaluate partner performance, providing feedback and support to maximize success.
• Oversee direct sales efforts, ensuring targets are met.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required.
• Plan and execute tradeshow events, webinars, and conferences to showcase our products, engage prospects, and nurture leads.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, facilitating communication and resolving issues promptly.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration.
• Leverage HubSpot’s CRM and Marketing tools to optimize lead capture, create workflow automation, manage campaigns, and generate reports.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in educational technology sales or related field, with at least 3-5 in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing channel partners and direct sales efforts.
• Strong understanding of the education K-12 market.
• Passion for transforming education through innovative solutions.
• Experience with STEM, coding, or robotics is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to travel nationally as needed for client meetings, tradeshows, and demos.
