Director of Network - Transfer Strategy and Operations (Remote)

ReUp Education - Remote - Full time

The role

ReUp Education is seeking a savvy business leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and higher-education experience to serve as the Director of the ReUp Network -- a new national marketplace for college completion. In this capacity, the Network Director will quickly get up to speed on ReUp’s model and expansion strategy, become immersed in our data and the needs of our students / partners, and help us accelerate as we move from minimum-viable-product to product-market fit.

The ReUp Network is a critical strategic initiative which is expected to grow significantly in the coming months. The Network expands the ReUp model beyond supporting stopouts in returning to their original college, and provides enhanced choices so that students can evaluate transferring into any of our partners’ programs based on their unique goals. Additionally, this model allows ReUp to connect with students outside of ReUp’s partners through direct-to-consumer outreach in order to build a growing pool of motivated transfer prospects.

What we do

Founded in 2015, ReUp Education is the only organization that focuses exclusively on helping colleges and universities engage and re-enroll the over 40% of US students who have “stopped out,” supporting them until graduation through our technology-enabled service. To date, we have re-enrolled over 15,000 students, helped over 3,500 students to graduate and recaptured over $44 million in tuition for our university partners.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute against the vision and strategy for the Network business line
  • Lead build-measure-learn cycles from the current MVP to product-market-fit in order to prove out Network’s potential for impact and feasibility to scale up
  • Manage Network performance against budget
  • Collaborate in creation of Network business and product roadmaps
  • Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional group to move key deliverables forward through weekly meeting facilitation and proactive project management
  • Act as owner for the continued development of the new product and service experience that empowers students to discover career and program options to return to college, then successfully transfer
  • Explore / analyze our data and conduct additional market research to improve our understanding of student behavior, the college transfer landscape, and supply-side / demand-side trends
  • Identify and escalate gaps / opportunities in our short and long-term strategy, operation, and student experience to move this venture further faster and shore up any blindspots
  • Create and present updates on the Network to both internal and external stakeholders (ReUp team, board, investors, etc.)
  • Document processes, decisions, and support the creation of materials required for ReUp to manage the business ongoing
