Marketing Executive - Remote Full-Time Position

Working together, the Marketing Team is responsible for overseeing the strategy, management, and execution of communications, in marketing campaigns, public relations, lead generation, and the development of other strategic communications. We need to add another marketing executive to the team. As a team, we focus on developing and supporting the execution of all brand management and marketing communication programs including campaign creation support, public relations, thought leadership, sales enablement, digital, customer success stories, video, product sheets, blogs, ebooks, solution pages, landing pages, emails, social and ad campaign copy, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, press releases, and more.

The Marketing Team will:

  • Collaborate with our executives on go-to-market strategies and associated materials to educate, inform, and encourage awareness.
  • Develop high-quality, accurate and compelling content through a variety of mediums including print, digital, email, web, and text
  • Leverage your own superior writing skills to create a steady stream of outstanding written content that differentiates us in the market and resonates with target buyers in education
  • Cultivate campaigns to achieve company objectives and generate leads
  • Back up work with key metrics
  • Deliver sales tools that helps the sales team close more business
  • Lead voice of the customer efforts - become the expert on our customers, uncovering insights that lead to breakthrough messaging, strategy and ultimately adoption
  • Stay abreast of latest SEO trends and ensure the website ranks for optimal keywords
  • Strategize ongoing website changes for a compelling experience that engages our audiences and leads to measurable action
  • Focus on an organic (non-paid) social strategy with regular postings to promote our most recent assets

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public affairs/relations, journalism, or related
  • Impeccable written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Marketing experience in K12 education space
  • Must be self-reliant and able to own creative projects and timelines from start-to-finish
  • Ability to distill succinct messaging from complex and sometimes undeveloped concepts
  • Must have great creative energy and the ability to distinguish nuanced scenarios
  • Excellent multi-tasking, decision-making and organizational skills
  • Experience with writing in AP style and varying tones based on audience
  • Possess a great deal of independence, initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage numerous competing and shifting priorities, and allocate time wisely
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Highly creative in thought-process and writing style
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining consistent output and timelines
  • Natural storytelling skills with a gift for writing and ability to work with graphics teams to create compelling content that maps our solution to customer pain points
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, HubSpot.
