Who are we looking for:

We're looking for a rockstar marketing leader to drive Elevate K-12’s marketing initiatives. As an essential member of the Elevate K-12 team, you will own marketing strategy and execution to help fuel the growth of our brand so we can continue in our mission of empowering struggling students. The right person will be comfortable taking initiative, loves solving problems and will thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment where cross-functional collaboration is paramount.

What you will do:

  • Overseeing and executing implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Working closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team.
  • Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented
  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
  • Develop and execute the marketing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
  • Develop and implement brand strategies.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Some of this work will be done with our consultants and third parties.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Constant brainstorming….enough said!

What you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree (marketing, PR or communications preferred or relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated success with content marketing in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
  • Displays high level of personal and professional integrity
  • Proficiency in time planning and management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Experience in EdTech a huge plus!
