Director of Leadership and Learning

Moonshot EdVentures - Denver, Colorado - Full time

Moonshot edVentures, a mission-driven and values-based organization, is focused on building the pipeline of diverse leaders to design and launch the schools of tomorrow in Metro Denver. Unlike other school incubators nationally, Moonshot’s School Launcher Fellowship is focused on broadening the tent of individuals who consider launching schools and programs. Moonshot does this by identifying leaders at least 2 or 3 years away from opening and provides them with high-quality, comprehensive programming focused on leadership development, school design, and pathways to launch. Moonshot also connects Fellows to local and national experts critical to Fellows’ school and/or program launch. Over the last two years, Moonshot has become a model for other cities that demonstrates the possibility of surfacing a more diverse set of leaders interested in doing school differently. Moonshot recently completed the inaugural fellowship year, supporting 16 Fellows with plans to lead charter schools, district turnaround schools, microschools, and after school programs, and plans to support 15-20 more Fellows in its second cohort beginning this fall.
