Description

The Director of Growth Marketing leads the team that helps drive acquisition and retention. You will be responsible for delivering qualified leads to the sales team and will work collaboratively with Product, Engineering and Data Science to achieve departmental goals. We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, so, apart from leading the team, this person will roll up her/his sleeves to design, implement and launch new programs.

It is critical for this person to have strong people management skills, partnership experience, strategic orientation, and quantitative/analytical aptitude. This individual needs to be resourceful, flexible, entrepreneurial at heart, and conscious of the bottom line. Torsh values innovation and ownership. Responsibilities

  • Architect, drive and manage A/B and multivariate tests; deliver results as well as insights for the rest of the team.
  • Lead strategic projects, identifying new audiences for growth.
  • Develop segmentation and analytical frameworks to achieve growth goals.
  • Analyze progress and establish processes for continuous improvements.
  • Design and implement optimization tests across our end-to-end customer funnel (from acquisition through lifecycle retention).
  • Use customer behavior data to influence and support product development, marketing, and technology strategies and tactics.
  • Define, drive and measure KPIs for all initiatives.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs regarding customer acquisition cost and lifetime value.
  • Ensure strong data governance, documentation, and communication of analyses and methodologies.
  • Manage an outsourced team of paid, email, and marketing automation specialists.
  • Lead cross-functional projects for ideation and execution of growth initiatives.
  • Analyze financial metrics and resource allocation across our markets and multiple channels to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Perform frequent user research to glean insights and new growth opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Four-year university degree is desired.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience working with Hubspot CRM and Hubspot Sales.
  • Experience setting priorities, working with multiple deadlines and handling large volumes of data flow.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a highly analytical, growth-oriented role for a B2B digital product and a track record of reliability, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to understand what drives customers' behavior through both numbers and qualitative data.
  • Proven track record of decreasing customer acquisition costs and increasing lifetime value while maintaining a brand and customer-centric approach above all else.
  • Experience with using the scientific method for marketing and/or product development.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a knack for analyzing results, providing insights and making the decision to move forward, based on supporting data.
  • A motivated, positive, proactive and transparent attitude.
  • Experience and desire to work in a fast growth environment.
  • A proven track record of driving projects to completion.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability.
  • A proactive leadership style, with strong listening skills, as well as a willingness to take risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Public speaking and presentation experience and skills, including comfort and finesse collaborating with and persuading C-level executives.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to problem-solve in real-time.
  • Success working cross-functionally and influencing teams.

The Director of Growth Marketing role will be compensated with a competitive combination of base salary, bonus, benefits and equity.

This role is based in New Orleans, LA. Relocation expenses will be reimbursed.
