Director of District Partnerships (K12 Sales)

Learning Sciences International - Remote - Full time

  • Understand and have the ability to navigate the politics of strategic accounts, including low-performing large urban districts.
  • Intellectual curiosity about school improvement .
  • Must be familiar with purchasing requirements and guidelines for districts within the targeted states.
  • Must have experience developing a territory plan with execution.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goal expressed as forecast accuracy, % growth, and sales target $
  • Generating and building a lead pipeline through existing networking and relationships
  • Successfully designing and implementing a territory sales plan in alliance with marketing and sales resources to meet or exceed goals
  • Employing effective selling techniques, including pre-call planning, meeting management, productive questions, issue identification, consultative selling, and effective closing
  • Managing opportunities throughout the entire sales process, leveraging the appropriate subject matter experts as needed to help develop and close sales
  • Providing technology/solution capabilities demonstrations to key decision makers and influencers
  • Strong utilization of SalesForce.com by capturing pipeline information, sales contacts, communications, and other proprietary client insight and interactions

Qualifications:

  • Successful experience selling instructional programs supported by a blend of technology, professional development, coaching, consulting, and publishing products and services in K12 education.
  • Knowledge of instructional shifts required to create evidence of instructional rigor.
  • Experience closing complex consultative sales involving multiple influencers and decision makers who typically choose solutions by consensus.
  • Working knowledge of the K12 buying cycle and funding sources for instructional solutions.
  • 5+ years of territory management
  • Proficiency with web-based CRM management tool required, Salesforce.com experience preferred
