We are in search of a Director of Content Marketing who has the expertise, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic required to drive overall marketing strategy with the willingness to jump into, oversee, and complete daily tasks—all while working closely in partnerships with the Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams. Join the Gaggle Marketing team to help us spread the word about how we can help school districts keep students safe.


  • Create a content marketing strategy for Gaggle
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategy to include marketing programs, campaigns, collateral (such as white papers, blogs, infographics, case studies, and videos), email content, marketing content, sales materials, presentation decks, and PR materials for Gaggle for all marketing activities, including the development, creation, and management of online events
  • Ensure the development and delivery of timely, accurate, and strategically sound marketing content for all Gaggle marketing, event, and sales needs
  • Ensure quality Gaggle image, message, and brand are maintained in all designated activities
  • Assist with measuring marketing activities to track against set marketing KPIsSupport the production of marketing tasks and campaigns via Trello, Confluence, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google
  • Manage the company blog, writing articles and coordinating with authors (both internal and external) to ensure a regular flow of timely and relevant content
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders, communicating appropriately to ensure timely execution of plan requirements
  • Stay abreast of potentially troublesome incidents, trends, and national issues that may negatively impact students and advise the team of findings
  • Manage escalated customer issues as necessary
  • Support the Marketing team, Marketing Vice President, Sales team, and entire Gaggle team


  • Candidates must reside in the United States and have full-time, remote work capacity (home office); the ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across disparate time zones and offices
  • Minimum of 8+ years of marketing experience ideally within the education or SaaS industry; K-12 experience a plus, preferably at the director level
  • Excellent writing skills required
  • Demonstrated creative marketing skills in previous roles.
  • Strong eye for design and copywriting, as well as the ability to create compelling digital content on the fly
  • Capable of planning, optimizing, and tracking results
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing automation tools and CRM programs
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (e.g., marketing, advertising, communications, English)
  • Proficient with Google tools, MS Office Suite, Salesforce, HubSpot, social media platforms, project management, and communication tools
  • Experience measuring and making recommendations using performance measurement tools
  • High technology competency across platforms and the ability to transform data into insights
  • Eager and excited to test new ways to share our brand story, engage customers, and drive results
  • Ability to toggle between strategy and execution daily; not afraid to get the job done
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high detail orientation and the ability to multi-task and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently; must be highly resourceful, responsible, timely, consistent, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fully remote environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by needs; some travel is required
  • Ability to receive and give information in a courteous manner over the telephone, via video conference, via electronic communication, or in-person
