The Director of College Readiness is responsible for driving Summit Public Schools’ College Readiness Program by developing, leading, and supporting our school leaders in the execution of a program vision.

The Director of College Readiness plays a crucial role in the coaching and professional development; resource creation and strategic communication; and program implementation needed for our schools to meet Summit’s mission and vision. The Director of College Readiness will directly support a Manager of College Readiness in California and will collaborate with the Regional Director of College Readiness in Washington State. The Director of College Readiness will report to the heads of schools at Summit Public Schools.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in school leadership and college programming. The ideal candidate has exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to meaningfully engage and communicate with a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is flexible, motivated by data to drive action, and is eager to support college success.
