What you’ll do when you join us:

• Provide direction and guidance to IT staff to support technology goals, ensuring the team receives the necessary training, mentorship, and skill development opportunities to foster technical growth and operational excellence.
• Manage performance of direct report(s) by establishing measurable goals and providing regular feedback.
• Prepare and implement equitable policies, procedures, best practices, and SLA’s relating to technology, corporate systems, telecommunication, and disaster recovery.
• Partner with the Director of Engineering and the Director of Business Systems to develop the strategic direction for the organization’s technological future.
• Lead efforts to develop strategies and plans to enhance technology services, improve user effectiveness, foster innovation, and improve speed of technical solutions.
• Drive the implementation of IT initiatives throughout the organization while ensuring objectives are achieved including risk management, resource allocation, project prioritization and budget compliance.
• Conduct system capacity and scalability planning for our systems architecture and networks.
• Develop effective procedures to measure the capacity for network devices and hosted applications relative to current and future activities.
• Lead efforts to improve IT infrastructure and processes by proactively identifying, researching, and recommending innovative solutions.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a senior IT leadership position
• 5+ years of experience developing strategic and tactical plans for delivering technology services and solutions.
• Ability to be a player-coach that can successfully lead the strategic technology vision and individually contribute to the work necessary to achieve the goals.
• Proven self-starter that is motivated to initiate projects and successfully take them from the planning stage to launch and beyond.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to create RFP’s, project plans, roadmaps, prioritize work and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Comfort working with cross-departmental teams to accomplish goals.
• Experience with vendor management with the ability to negotiate contracts, communicate demands and track against agreements.
