We need a strong strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented leader for our small but mighty Business Operations team.

As Director, BizOps (Strategy and Ops) you serve as the primary point of contact for our leadership team on critical questions and the toughest challenges related to both our near-term and longer-term success. You are a strategic self-starter that can execute in a high growth start-up environment with multiple priorities; quickly seeing the bigger picture and knowing what is required in order to bring that picture to life.

You’ll lead and coach team members to further develop their capabilities and impact on the organization. In your eyes, no problem is too big, too small, or too challenging; you are always up for the challenge and are continuously raising the bar. The Role

As Director, BizOps (Strategy and Ops) you will:

  • Develop strategy, frameworks and models to ensure operational excellence and cross-functional alignment to contribute to larger, organization goals
  • Lead critical cross-functional initiatives to identify and quantify strategic growth opportunities and operational improvements, design sustainable solutions, and persuade varying audiences
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and triage multiple priorities, issues, and roadblocks facing the company using your experience leveraging data for business impact
  • Balance long and short term engagements, and proactively identify opportunities that may span between/across the business
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data and information across teams to provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Mentor and coach team members to further develop their capabilities
  • Champion growth mindset, flexibility, learning, and psychological safety

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in operations within services or technology companies; this is a great opportunity for those with experience in Consulting, Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Strategy, or similar roles; MBA a plus.
  • Experience building and managing lean teams with outsized company impact in a high growth environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfort working with and influencing executive leadership
  • Self-starter who is highly comfortable with ambiguity and ability to shift priorities as needed
