Curriculum Associates, LLC is, socially responsible, rapidly growing educational company located northwest of Boston, MA. Curriculum Associates seeks a highly-qualified Digital Marketing Technology Specialist with experience supporting fast-paced business organizations. This position will report to the IT Director, and partner closely with the Marketing team to design, develop, deliver, and support marketing applications, websites, and reports by leveraging our CMS platform. The Digital Marketing Technology Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with the Campaign Management team to design, create, and execute marketing campaigns using our marketing automation platform (Eloqua).

The Digital Marketing Technology Specialist will use both functional and technical expertise, and apply best practices, to leverage the core capabilities of our CMS and Marketing Automation platforms. Our organization is currently in a transformational phase due to our growth and changing industry; therefore, candidates with experience guiding organizations through this process are highly desired.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot websites and mobile (responsive) applications.
  • Key resource on the website redesign project responsible for migrating the current website to a redesigned responsive site.
  • Partner with the operations team and vendors to manage deployments to Dev, Test, and Production servers.
  • Take ownership of the CMS platform and provide administration, configuration, and technical support.
  • Research, identify, and implement new marketing technologies that improve the functionality and performance of sites or decrease costs and maintenance.
  • Work with the marketing team to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution, localize content, receive feedback, and present results.
  • Responsible for project delivery using formal (traditional) and informal (agile) lifecycles.
  • Strive for continual improvement of team processes, including version control, process control, documentation, requirements gathering, etc.
  • Work with other IT groups to ensure optimal set up and management of sites using cloud services.
  • Hands-on development and execution of marketing campaigns including campaign flow builds, email, landing pages, form creation, testing, and tracking.
  • Drive and manage email campaign process including content, messaging, segmentation, building canvas, mobile (responsive), and list management.
  • Manage and implement google analytics tags to track user interactions.
  • Manage and create videos for hosting and integration using Vidyard video platform.
  • Document current and future state processes and develop technical specifications for projects and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify project milestones, tasks, and required resources to develop a detailed project plan.
  • Evaluates potential technical and process-based solutions, makes recommendations, and assists with financial justifications and ROI analysis.
  • Key IT point of contact responsible for working with digital agencies and CMS implementation partners.

What we’re looking for:

Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a record of achievement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of overall IT experience
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing websites leveraging CMS platforms.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with marketing automation platforms (preferably Eloqua).
  • Must be proficient in HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and responsive web development technologies.
  • Google Analytics experience is highly desired.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar applications is highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technologies and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience with interactive marketing techniques including inbound/outbound marketing, demand generation, SEO, SEM, PPC, Analytics, etc.
  • Experience with BI tools and CRM (Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work as a team member, or individually, to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Strong functional and technical skills, troubleshooting skills, as well as verbal and written communications skills.
  • A detail oriented, highly-motivated, self-starter, who likes working and staying current with the latest technologies and takes ownership of both projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
