Digital Marketing Manager

ReUp Education is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Manager to run our acquisition and engagement efforts to drive student outcomes. By helping us execute, iterate, and innovate on our outreach strategies across channels, you’ll enable us to achieve our ambitious goal of re-enrolling and supporting millions of college students.

The Digital Marketing Manager will focus on creating student-facing materials that touch upon multiple aspects of a student’s return to higher ed, from re-enrollment to graduation. You will take advantage of user segmentation and A/B testing combined with predictive analytics and automation, to create and disseminate content and messaging that resonates with current and prospective students. What we do

Founded in 2015, ReUp Education is the only organization that focuses exclusively on helping colleges and universities engage and re-enroll the more than 40% of US students who have “stopped out” and support them until graduation, through our technology-enabled service. To date, we have re-enrolled over 10,000 students and recaptured over $35 million in tuition for our university partners.

What you'll do

  • Creating and delivering against marketing plans for new and existing university partners to hit key engagement, conversion, and retention goals for each academic term
  • Managing student acquisition and engagement efforts across the student lifecycle (re-enrollment to graduation) via email and SMS channels for a portfolio of partners
  • Leading development of content for campaigns in collaboration with Lead Coaches
  • Designing and executing multivariate tests to improve our results and increase our value
  • Developing and testing personalized user journeys for different student segments
  • Managing an outreach calendar to communicate all key marketing activities
  • Finding inventive ways to increase the level of automation for all marketing activities
  • Digging into the data to analyze results and provide strategic recommendations
  • Collaborating with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Product to craft a vision for the marketing operation and deliver against growth & engagement KPIs
  • Limited travel (bi-annual retreats)

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or a related field.
  • 2-5 years experience delivering results across the full growth stack: from research to experimentation, to acquisition, to activation, to retention
  • Higher ed, ed tech, and/or startup experience a plus
  • Fluent with best-in-class consumer marketing platforms and processes that enable scale, e.g. Marketing Automation Systems, Analytics Platforms, Outreach Tools, etc. (Hubspot experience preferred)
  • Ability to balance several projects and campaigns simultaneously
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Experience running and learning from dozens of A/B tests to improve results over time

  • You collaborate to create effective content that resonates with users and drives key actions -- including email and SMS templates, messaging, landing pages, forms, social media, blog posts, and newsletters.
  • Your work is grounded in statistics and marketing analytics, with the ability to seek out the right data to inform your decision making process.
  • You embrace technology and iterate on marketing systems to spread ReUp’s mission through existing and emergent channels.
  • You are intellectually curious and excited about becoming an industry expert and applying the latest research to your work
  • You’ve leveraged user segmentation and personalized content to improve campaign performance

Location

ReUp is a distributed company. The majority of our team work remotely. We also have a group which works out of our office in San Francisco.
