The Role

If you believe in leveraging digital tools to build a standout online presence for a quickly growing EdTech company, Wayfinder wants to talk to you. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track and optimize our marketing campaigns across all channels.

This role will work alongside team members on the marketing team to develop, implement, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns, projects, and content. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing writing and storytelling, as well as a proven ability to manage projects within deadlines and on budget. Day to day this role will work with team members from our marketing, design, and sales crews to move projects forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, with excellent writing skills. Previous experience in Edtech and startups is a major plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and craft product messaging and positioning across channels (ex: blogs, landing pages, webinars, events, sales collateral, etc.)
  • Brainstorm, produce, and analyze product-focused content across mediums [digital, video, print, etc.]
  • Work with fellow marketing manager to plan, assist and execute marketing projects, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and advertising campaigns
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Assist with field marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and differentiation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven success and experience in digital marketing or related field [5 years minimum]
    • PLUS = prior Edtech industry experience
  • Professional-level writing and editing skills
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • A keen eye for details, strong analytical skills, and data-driven thinking

LOCATION

Remote work. This role is remote, but requires you to be actively online and available for at least 4 hours between 9am-5pm US Central Time. As such, this role can be anywhere where you can commit to working half the day to overlap with that timezone.
