Overview: The Digital Learning Associate (DLA) at the Graduate School of Education will work closely with the Educational Technology Specialist and Digital Learning Strategy Lead to identify and support academic and administrative technology needs.

Qualifications: Four-year degree (technology, education, or art/design fields preferred), with 2+ yrs experience regarding a significant portion of the below skills.

Media production (50%)

   Core skills:

      -Recording video and photography (single cam, multi-cam, lighting setup)

      -Post-production for video and photography (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro)

Bonus points:


      -Interactive media content development

      -Motion graphics (Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects)

Academic technology administration (50%)

  Core skills:

      -Learning Management System (LMS) administration (Canvas)

      -Classroom technology development and maintenance (Qualtrics, Poll Everywhere)

      -Implementation/adaptation of technology for administrative purposes (Google Docs, -Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint)

      -Basic Windows and Mac operating systems administration, including setup, troubleshooting, and connecting to external audiovisual sources

   Bonus points:

      -Curriculum design

      -Training and documentation

   Additional skills:

      -Written communication (memos, research)

      -Oral communication (working with faculty, troubleshooting with colleagues)

      -Independent work habits (minimal oversight, can-do attitude)

      -Project management (managing scope, prioritizing)


      -Hours/benefits: This position is a part-time position with maximum of 19 hours/week without any benefits.

      -Timeline: This position is available for a start date beginning on or after August 1.

      -Location: This position is located in Stanford, CA.
