The Digital Adjunct Bench Teacher is responsible for making knowledge accessible to all students, developing student’s cognitive capacity and respect for learning, implementing ILP (Individual Learning Plans), fostering students’ self-esteem, motivation, and sense of civic responsibility and leadership, and for ongoing professional growth.
The Digital Adjunct Bench is a reserve of highly qualified teachers who can start immediately once a position becomes available. ASUPD continues adding to our bench of qualified adjuncts on a continual basis. Most employment opportunities, once available, are remote part-time W2 employees. Being on the bench does not guarantee immediate employment nor does it guarantee an appointment within a certain time period. Please note, the bench is an unpaid position that does not receive benefits.
Multiple positions are available including: Math, Social Studies, English, World Languages, American Sign Language, and Music.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be initially determined by student enrollments at the end of the third week of class, and will be measured on a monthly basis, according to a tiered pay scale.
*Please note, this position includes a 2-week training experience. 1st week of training will be 2hrs/day, 2nd week of training will be 1hr/day for a total of 15 hours of paid training throughout the 2-week onboarding.
