They possess strong content knowledge, a track record of leadership, and the ability to mentor students toward high performance. Teacher Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing curricula aligned to Common Core standards
  • Mentoring students in the @d.tech class
  • Teaching design thinking in a design lab class
  • Reflecting regularly on teaching practice and acting on constructive feedback
  • Using assessment data to refine curriculum, inform instructional practices, and drive progress towards academic standards
  • Engaging in collaborative curricula development, data analysis, and problemsolving
  • Developing positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Participating in an annual two-week staff training and weekly professional development
  • Conversational Spanish a plus.
