Area #1: 10th Grade Design Thinking Course
- Develop course outcomes and arc of learning for 10th Grade Design Thinking curriculum according to Design Tech’s Competency Based Learning Framework. For Spring 2023, the curriculum is prepared
- Provide timely feedback on student work
- Support student needs by developing a daily Flextime plan
- Determine final grades for students in the course
- Communicate with parents as needed
- Provide input to counselor and attend SST and IEP meetings as needed
Area #2: Introduction to Prototyping Course
- Develop course outcomes and arc of learning for 9th Grade Introduction to Prototyping curriculum according to Design Tech’s Competency Based Learning Framework. For Spring 2023, the curriculum is prepared. One section only.
- Provide timely feedback on student work
- Support student needs by developing a daily Flextime plan
- Determine final grades for students in the course
- Communicate with parents as needed
- Provide input to counselor and attend SST and IEP meetings as needed
Area #3: Advisor for approximately 20 students
- Share announcements with students in advisory each day
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families in teacher’s advisory for all four years
- Build a caring, supportive relationship with students in advisory class
- Implement activities in advisory as needed
- Facilitate open session for advisory students
- Connect advisory students and families to resources on campus
- Get to know students personally and academically
- Write letter of recommendations for all advisory students (End of Jr. Year)
