We are currently seeking a Business Systems and Technology Manager who is responsible for providing oversight and support of critical organizational IT systems, day-to-day operations, and the IT business continuity / disaster recovery plans and procedures. Further, this person will provide technology solution management to support our professional services and business processes.

The ideal candidate would have significant experience managing the selection, implementation, and maintenance of business systems as well as a high technical aptitude and ability. The candidate should also have strong process and project management experience. The Business Systems and Technology Manager should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment, working independently and proactively where there is uncertainty and ambiguity.

This is a full-time, exempt position that would be based out of our main office and would report to the Director, Talent, Culture, and Operations.

Position Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • -Provide technical support for critical business systems
  • -Troubleshoot, install, and/or resolve software issues
  • -Configure and deploy new systems
  • -Develop and refine departmental procedures and standards; train staff accordingly on SOPs and technologies
  • -Understand networks and troubleshoot issues
  • -Oversee HelpDesk; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues either over the phone or virtually
  • -Manage all technology assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals
  • -Provide timely, friendly customer service to internal team members and external partners, where appropriate
  • -Constantly monitor systems and technologies; optimize for efficiency, cost, and best potential usage by Pivot staff
  • -Work with vendors to procure new technologies, renew licenses, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • -Evaluate business processes, draft and analyze work flows and data, and provide implementation recommendations
  • -Lead the tool selection process for identifying new software, systems, and processes for prioritized business systems; oversee tool enhancements and upgrades
  • -Oversee quality control and user acceptance testing for technology solution implementation

Qualifications

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • -BS/BA Degree or equivalent in related field, preferably in business systems management and/or computer science
  • -4+ years business systems analysis, technical project management, IT management experience, and/or some combination thereof
  • -Strong sense of urgency; performs successfully with deadlines and potentially shifting priorities
  • -Excellent problem-solving skills
  • -Experience working in a process-driven environment with a process improvement lens
  • -Strong written and oral communication skills
  • -Keen attention to detail
  • -Ability to work as collaboratively in cross-functional teams, both co-located and distributed in nature
  • -High level to advanced computer, application, and network technical skills (Windows, Mac, Office Suite, Salesforce.com, web hosting and DNS, security, etc.)
  • -High aptitude to quickly learn and develop expertise in new or unfamiliar technology
  • -Strong commitment to the mission and goals of the organization

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. Full benefits include health, dental, vision, 403B contribution, and paid time off for holidays, sick leave and vacations.
