As Outschool’s first full-time customer support agent, you will be responsible for delivering amazing support to our community of teachers and parents. Teachers love the opportunity to reach engaged learners, and many teachers rely on us for significant earnings. Parents are trying a new class format, and often have questions about their experience. You'll help them all feel at home and cared for in our community.

You will become an expert at how Outschool works and resolving problems for teachers and parents. You will play a critical role in our small team, and should be comfortable with a dynamic, early-stage company environment. We are a seed-stage company and compensation includes both salary and equity grants.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat

Create and maintain support materials

Help us define and deliver a high standard of customer support

Requirements

Experience providing customer support

Attention to detail

Analytical and problem-solving approach

Comfort with learning and using technical tools

Excellent grammar and copy-editing skills

Comfort with dynamic environments

Desire to help build a new education company from the ground up
