Flocabulary is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to help our school customers get the most out of the Flocabulary program, ensuring that their student usage targets are met and working with them to secure renewals and continued use of Flocabulary.

Who You Are

You are smart, hardworking and patient. You have a deep respect for and experience interacting with educators, either as a teacher or in a previous account management position -- ideally both. You can teach anyone just about anything and excel at creating simple instructions for complex systems. You love working in a fast-paced, team environment and you approach your work with a customer-centric humility and empathy. You are organized and proactive.


  • Maintain an annual renewal target and manage a large portfolio of school customers to achieve your revenue and account renewal targets
  • Monitor implementation of Flocabulary and execute all aspects of account management for new and existing school accounts
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement, using usage data and health metrics to prioritize services
  • Engage in on-going communication with school leadership
  • Liaise between technical customer support and customers
  • Work closely with your counterparts on the Sales team to coordinate handoffs and upsell opportunities
  • Leverage customer success automation software to supplement in-person touches
  • Assist in the ongoing development of training materials and educator resources
  • Contribute to the evolution of the customer implementation process
  • Collect feedback on product implementation and provide insights to our Product team.


  • You have 1-3 years of experience in account management and you have demonstrated success working with a revenue quota and/or numeric performance metrics
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in classroom teaching or customer success in the K-12 market
  • Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platform; experience using Gainsight is a plus
  • Empathy comes easily and you have great respect for the hard work that happens everyday in classrooms
  • You care deeply about fostering in students a lifelong love of learning
  • You are tech savvy and can learn new systems quickly
