Customer Success Manager (Strategic Enterprise)

The Curriculum (Your Role):

A strategic/enterprise CSM’s job is to own our post-sales relationship with strategic/enterprise Seesaw For Schools accounts and ensure we are delivering on the value and promise that Seesaw is being used to its fullest potential. Not only should we be delivering on the value throughout the year but renewing the learning loop success with Seesaw. CSMs at Seesaw understand how to serve and sell into the K-12 education market.

Your Classmates (The Team):

CSMs at Seesaw work directly with customers to drive value for educators in a hands-on way. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with our support, product and engineering, content, and finance teams on escalating issues, discovering trends, and more.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

  • Manage a portfolio of our largest district partnerships
  • Own the renewal and expansion process for your portfolio
  • Lead consultative meetings with key district stakeholders using data
  • Develop a strategy for each account, identifying expansion targets and cancellation risks

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • Proven success in a customer-facing, quota-carrying environment (ie. Renewals, expansion, account management, new business)
  • Enterprise customer success experience
  • EdTech and/or B2B SaaS experience
  • Relationship Building - You are personable. You listen well. Your actions match your words so when you make a promise you keep it. As a result, people like, trust, and rely on you.
  • Project Management skills - You can organize and lead a project by influencing and coordinating the actions of people outside your direct control - inside and outside the organization and out.
  • Proactive: You have a preference to create and control a situation rather than react to events. You are assertive and know when to push.
  • A Passion for Education: You have a strong desire to use your skills to help support teachers and students.
