This position will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager, but also work closely with key business teams including Account Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management to deliver effective programs aligned to business objectives.


The Customer Marketing Specialist will help drive customer marketing, and event programs at DreamBox. This includes responsibilities such as; managing our customer marketing communications and online community, and support the execution of our high-impact, in-person and online events.

Customer Marketing and Online Community Management

Manage our online customer community platform daily with the goal of supporting customer success and creating brand advocates.

Review community comments and posts in a timely manner, and engage the right internal resources where necessary to help support responses.

Develop concepts and content to keep customers active and engaged on the platform, including promotions, contests, polls, and other viral content to create ongoing customer conversations that drive usage, renewal, and expansion.

Craft and deploy monthly customer communication campaigns, including a customer newsletter.

Online and In-person Events

Work closely with Marketing Manager to contribute to building overall strategy of live and virtual events plan.

Pioneer a branded event series for customers and prospects.

Plan, execute, and track leads/metrics for prospecting webinars and prospecting events including both national and regional level tradeshows (will require travel).

Manage event budget, vendors, resources, travel, and on-site teams.

Craft and deploy promotional emails and landing pages to support events and webinars.

Build and maintain vendor relationships regarding project management of event logistics.


2-3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, customer success, or online community management role.

Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels, including Customer Relationship Management platforms and marketing automation platforms (Marketo experience a plus).

Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.

Experience using and analyzing key customer marketing metrics.

Ability to write effective copy is a necessity; graphic design capabilities are a plus.

Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes.

Understanding of complete event and webinar execution, from planning to follow-up.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business.

Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, schedule and plan across several ongoing projects.

Creative and insightful, and not afraid to share your opinion.

Ability to think strategically and prioritize to meet goals.

Team player who isn’t afraid to jump in and get your hands dirty.

Comfortable in a start-up environment.
