About eSpark's Curriculum Design Team

The Curriculum Design team at eSpark curates the best digital third party educational content available and rigorously applies data and research to inform our instructional design. The role of a Curriculum Designer requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration. An appreciation for and experience with strong pedagogical practice is critical.

eSpark is looking for a full-time Curriculum designer to assist in the development of a customized Spanish Dual Language curriculum.

You will:

  • Contribute expertise in best practices of pedagogy to shape learning experiences
  • Create instructional content, videos, and other curricular resources to support the design and development of the Spanish Language Acquisition curriculum
  • Resourcefully find and vet strong educational third party content
  • Collaborate with other educators and key stakeholders to innovate and deliver a customized Spanish Language Acquisition curriculum

You bring:

  • 5+ years of Dual Language teaching experience
  • Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated success in developing dual language programs with a focus on student growth
  • Strong knowledge of CCSS, WIDA, ELPS, and CA ELD Standards, alignment, and curriculum mapping
  • Interest in learning quickly and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-direction and time management skills

This role is funded by a grant for at least 18 months. After 18 months we’ll seek a continuation of this work and role via grant extension and product investment.
