The ELL Coordinator coordinates all projects in the ELL Curriculum team. This person will work directly with the Curriculum Project Manager to track the projects as they progress and give daily updates to stakeholders as needed. The job includes monitoring and creating JIRA tasks, scheduling and organizing lunch meetings, and providing secretarial and administrative support for the team.


  • Create and maintain curriculum tasks in JIRA and documents in Confluence on own initiative
  • Track progress of work through JIRA tasks assigned to and from the team with little guidance
  • Schedule and organize lunch meetings
  • Data entry
  • Take meeting notes as needed
  • Maintain all documentation within the team
  • Process expense forms, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Proof and edit documents
  • Work with advisors and consultants to communicate project status
  • Assist with collecting assets for audio recording, video production and other ELL projects
  • Coordinate with advisors and consultants on their travel, scheduling, and invoices
  • Work with internal team to update and communicate project status
  • Participate in planning sessions, contribute to process, and provide updates
  • Track documentation, versions, and file management
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and collaborate effectively under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to rapidly learn and effective use the organizations management software (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft 365)
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive “can-do” attitude is a must, willing to help wherever needed
  • Proficiency with MS Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic and sense of humor required
  • Understanding of international ELL products and curriculum preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ELL teaching is a plus
  • At least 2 years’ workplace experience in general office setting or other role where attention to detail and communication skills have been successfully demonstrated
  • Experience in Concur, ADP, Jobvite a plus
  • Proficient in Mandarin
