Contract Program Manager

The Contract Program Manager reports to the Program Manager. This manager is responsible for enabling cross-functional teams to continuously deliver features, enhancements, and updates to Edmentum’s Learning and Assessment product portfolios. Also responsible for enacting standards, processes, and tools based on Lean and Agile methodologies. The Program Manager serves as a cross-functional leader throughout Edmentum and works alongside a team of Program and Project Managers.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Enact common standards, processes, and tools based on Lean and Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Program manage initiatives, products, and/or portfolios, enabling continuous value streams that deliver outcomes aligned to roadmaps. Partner closely with product, technology, and development leaders and teams throughout planning and execution.
  • Facilitate the creation, documentation, and evolution of product development workflows and dependency mapping.
  • Manage risk proactively, anticipate potential issues, implement appropriate mitigations, and remove blockers.
  • Support the adoption of Lean and Agile processes across organization through delivering ongoing training.
  • Manage change in fast-paced, agile environment – including supporting change management efforts to transform the current PMO into an Agile PMO.
  • Maintain effective and seamless communication across senior leaders, stakeholders, teams, and vendors.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 6 years of experience in SaaS; education technology and/or publishing experience preferred
  • 4 years of experience in program and/or project management
  • 2 years of experience in agile and lean-based development practices; Lean and/or Scaled Agile certifications required (e.g., Certified Advanced Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner/Manager, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager)
  • Proven experience in budget management (minimum of $10M)
  • Proven experience managing programs, varying in complexity and size
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
  • Experience working with multiple vendors, including onshore and offshore, preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Positive and high-energy attitude
  • Proven ability to work in multi-faceted and fast-paced environment
