Content Producer

The result has been more engaged readers and engaged readers are better learners.

As a content producer, you’ll be a member of Nesela’s Content team. You will work collaboratively with the Content team to execute on and help scale out our production of custom content collections. You will use data, research and industry best practices to inform your day to day and rely on your creativity and ingenuity to ensure the final output is delightful to our readers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the custom content collection production from inception to launch
    • Review content and provide feedback
    • Edit content as needed
    • Manage the work of freelancers curating custom collections
  • Work with content operations to onboard and train contributors
  • Create training materials for contributors
  • Work with editorial to source custom content that aligns to the district and classroom requirements
  • Produce and manage the production of instructional resources Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Continuously test and learn to optimize content offerings

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of teaching experience in the K-12 education space, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with implementing curriculum, online learning and instruction
  • A curious individual, who asks questions and always seeks to learn and improve both the product and professionally
  • Familiarity with Social Studies and/or ELA standards and frameworks
  • Proven knowledge of the Common Core Standards
  • Experience working on editorial projects
