The Content and Production Manager oversees all aspects of the Content and Production workflow for libraries. As a collaborative, results-driven communicator, the Content and Production Manager partners with stakeholders including the content subject matter experts, screenwriters, and the Chief Medical Officer to ensure publication priorities and outcomes are met within defined, and hits goals on time, on budget, and in scope.


  • Work with stakeholders and partner teams to build, manage, and troubleshoot the publication schedule for all classes in the Library. Including working within quarterly capacity deliverables and resource budgets.
  • Own, manage and facilitate weekly Content and Production meetings. Create and communicate agendas, lead efficient and informative meetings, absorb information on the variables of all aspects of the meeting, use the information gained to inform publication timelines and priorities, and communicate those decisions to the production team.
  • Anticipate and identify scheduling and production roadblocks and potential risks.
  • Work with stakeholders across teams to remove roadblocks to content creation.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting about the library.
  • Assist the team with managing and maintaining class and class metadata. Ensure data accuracy through all stages of the class production workflow.
  • Support Subject Matter Experts; facilitate payments, field and answer subject matter questions, requests, and feedback.
  • Field internal communication from sales, operations, and compliance and inquiries with regards to classes and content roadmaps.
  • Identify, develop, and implement new and unique ways to improve production workflow operations, quality assurance, and process improvements as needed.
  • Measure engagement and create the feedback loop with Operations Director of content production and class release.
  • Support the CEO and Chief Medical Officer as needed for special projects.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a large volume of schedules and projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, skilled, and proactive communicator and problem solver
  • Extremely organized with a relentless and attention to detail
  • An understanding of production, post-production, scheduling, and digital media
  • Ability to ask tough questions regarding any aspect necessary to deliver a successful project
  • Have the aptitude to quickly learn new concepts or domains to be able to uncover risks and guide decision-making, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to balance many details, tasks, timelines, and stakeholders effectively while still meeting deadlines
  • Advanced skills using Excel, Mac OS, Google Apps, and editing software, and familiar with Learning Management Systems
