IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a Consumer Marketing Manager for Rosetta Stone.
Rosetta Stone has been the leading language learning program for 30 years, and recently joined the IXL Learning family. In this role, you will play a key part in defining the future of the Rosetta Stone brand. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies to acquire new customers and drive engagement with the brand and product. This will include seasonal and promotional campaigns, social media, content marketing, and more. You’ll also build and manage a small team of content marketers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own the consumer marketing plan for Rosetta Stone, developing strategies and tactics that will attract and retain customers
- Manage the execution of seasonal and promotional campaigns, coordinating efforts across Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Management and more
- Oversee Rosetta Stone’s social media strategy and content; manage the Social Media Manager (to be hired)
- Manage the content marketing strategy (e.g. blog and website content): write and edit copy; collaborate with SEO Manager on SEO content strategy; hire and manage a Content Editor and freelance copywriters
- Collaborate closely with VP of Marketing, VP of Digital Marketing, and other team members to ensure all consumer marketing strategies are aligned (including advertising and paid marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing, and public relations)
- Develop and execute marketing plans to support new product/feature launches; refine brand and product messaging as needed
- Hire, manage, and mentor 1-2 Marketing Associates who will write copy for the blog, website, emails, and more
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BA/BS degree
- 9+ years of brand marketing, content marketing, and/or integrated marketing experience, including with consumer-facing brands
- Minimum of 2-3 years of managing, coaching, and motivating direct reports
- Strategic thinking: You are able to take a set of goals and build short- and long-term plans and strategies to achieve them. You consider an idea from all angles, ask smart questions, and make thoughtful decisions that align with the company needs, values, and resources
- Written communication: You are an exceptional writer and editor who knows how to clearly communicate a message and make every word count
- You get things done: You’re a self-starter, detail- and deadline-oriented, organized, and adaptable. You have the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish and rally stakeholders around a common goal
- Interpersonal skills: You’re both an effective coach and a team player, have excellent verbal communication skills, and can successfully collaborate with colleagues across varied teams
