UnCollege is changing the way we approach education. We believe that people should be empowered to take control of their own choices for learning, and not simply follow the status quo. We run experience-based education programs that teach young adults the practical skills they miss in most conventional classroom settings. We use a blended approach of self-directed learning, accountability training, coaching, mentorship, and deliberate practice that equips students with the essential skills, tools, and habits they need for success in their next step.

As one of our Coaches, you are responsible for delivering exceptional programs for our students from beginning to end. Being a coach means you have the knowledge and background to work with young people from all walks of life, meet them where they are, and help them get through whatever hurdles are standing in the way of them materializing into their full potential. Coaches have the most interaction with the students; they are the face of UnCollege and are what sets our programs apart.

This role is part coach, part facilitator. Throughout our programs, coaching is dialed up and down depending on the phase and can range from video calls with students while abroad, to facilitating workshops, group coaching, and one-on-one coaching. In every interaction, you are modeling, teaching, learning, and inspiring, while maintaining healthy boundaries and professionalism.
