Coach Development Lead

Multiverse - New York, New York - Full time

The Coach Development Lead will provide key strategic support to the Head of Coaches, working to build tools, systems and capacity to support coach efficacy and satisfaction. Sitting within the broader US Delivery team, this individual will be an important contributor to scaling the team from 30 to 300 coaches over the next several years.

In this role you will:

  • Design, build and lead Coach Professional Development sessions
  • Project-manage key strategic initiatives such as coach professional progressions, professional development scope/sequencing, differentiating coach role and responsibilities, and change management across program tracks
  • Build knowledge management systems to support the growing team
  • Create systems to support key innovations for scale, such as group apprentice coaching and data dashboards
  • Data analysis to evaluate program and coach efficacy and inform strategy

This experienced project leader will report to the Head of Coaches and partner with functional leads across both the US and UK teams, to help a rapidly scaling team deliver excellent results.   • You have direct experience as an instructor, which could include K12, higher education, or bootcamp teaching. You achieved excellent results over 3+ years in the classroom, and you know what it takes to be an extraordinary educator.
  • You are a proven systems leader, with experience in building and scaling systems within educational organizations. You have experience gathering input from multiple stakeholders and synthesizing it to inform strategy.
  • You have a data-driven approach and are comfortable using data to drive decision-making.
  • You are an expert problem solver and enjoy finding solutions to complex challenges at a fast pace. You prioritize decisively and thoughtfully.
  • You are a proactive, effective communicator spanning individual conversations through large team settings. Strong communication skills are essential in this role as the coaches are at different stages of their journeys and working directly with our apprentices. You are someone who does not shy away from tough conversations and sees them as learning opportunities.
  • Preferred: You have technical experience and/or knowledge/commercial experience in education and/or technology.
