Client-Account Relationship Manager - Assessment and Software Development

Previous account management experience is not required.  Please let us know if you have previous administrative or assessment experience!  Likewise for any educational sales experience.

The Role

This position is responsible for growing relationships while maintaining and expanding existing business within an assigned portfolio of accounts. Responsible for high-level external relationship management and acts as client liaison during projects. Strategically focused and responsible for client satisfaction, maintaining client/project team communication, and the overall management of the client relationship.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have experience drafting clear communications that demonstrate an attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • A track record of personal accountability, and a high standard of integrity and professionalism. You've demonstrated resilience and a desire to succeed in the face of new and/or unforeseen challenges
  • Team player with a strong desire to help enforce and improve internal processes
  • Proven ability to marshal internal resources, as appropriate, to enable client success
  • Ability to build cost and pricing estimates of proposed work and sell the work to existing clients
  • Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders, perspectives, and needs to deliver projects on-time
  • Advanced excel skills
  • General experience with software development and cloud services and hosting setup a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Build and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets and assist the organization in its continued growth
  • Effectively communicate requirements, timelines, needs, obstacles, and solutions to teams and stakeholders
  • Provide reporting for clients to review engagement, utilization, and spend analysis
  • Monitor progress, generate reports, and deliver status updates to stakeholders
  • Review client invoices
  • Accurately track all opportunities in Salesforce and actively participate in regular pipeline review meetings.
  • Communicate with project teams to ensure product development is proceeding on budget/time
  • Participate in weekly status and planning meetings for client projects
